Cognitive Development
Musical Education has continuously proven to have positive effects on cognitive development. Planning, organizing, goal formation and more are controlled by cognitive abilities that can be built by musical education through listening, auditory processing skills, promoting memory and recall as well as strengthened executive function.
In class, students learn song lyrics and dance routines which test their memory and recall, original stories and animal sounds increase their focus and listening skills and with instrument and prop play they begin to understand the concept of cause and effect.
